Emiliano deserves a non generic chant, not one thats an existing chant with altered words, thats lazy. I am not aware of any other clubs using "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" which is an apt and very stirring anthemic chant with the right words in the right places.

I feel "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" should be the chant for Emiliano, as I say its not an "Allez Allez" or other recent chants nicked from other teams, my words may not be for everyone but they are respectful and easy to remember. Maybe others can tweak them.

Football chants don't sound great when put to music it has to be said.

However, This man deserves a memorable original and respectful chant. I hope its not an over used and borrowed chant that is the one that catches on.

Thanks Stentona, but it seems the chant is not for everyone. Its come in for some criticism, some Bluebirds calling it a joke and shite etc! Those that will no doubt be happy to once again copy a chant from another club and put Emiliano's name to it. After "Allez Allez" "Super Junior Hoilett" etc we are slowly becoming copyists with our chants.

I have only pieced together "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" melody for obvious reasons and the words which were inspired and loosely based on the banner that was in Nantes last night.
