We have gone through most of the season playing very defensively away from home. Hoping to nick a draw.
We have persevered with Hoillet offering very little going forward, and Paterson at centre forward.
Today we had two mobile forwards up top. We looked a threat when we had the ball. Niasse held the ball up well and made runs down the channels, Reid was lively and hard working. We played decent football and
I enjoyed watching us. Please Mr Warnock keep playing football until the season's end. if we stay up great. If we go down, at least we'll have had a go. The performance was like chalk and cheese compared to Huddersfield and Newcastle where we were ultra defensive.
And this was against one of the the top teams We have said these games don't matter and won't determine our season. Well from now on We have to give it a go against all teams and que sera sera.
Well done lads. You lost, in difficult circumstances, but you went down fighting.
