UPVC door stuck at bottom - wont open

To lighten the mood a little - Ive got a upvc kitchen door, the lock seems to have got stuck at the bottom of the door and it wont open (or lock properly)

Any ideas of how to get open - other than blow the bloody doors off it

On your hinges if got hexagon bolt or similar on inside there used to adjust door, you could try raising hinges usually there's a gap between door and frame after close door may go up far enough to free it obviously need to do both bolts never tried it probably wont work but never know

Thanks - I'll try that tomorrow. Hopefully the door has dropped a bit and lifting the hinges will be enough to get it open

If not look up upvc makers or repair people ask their advice probably an easy salutation ?

just lift the door slightly as you try to open it

Agree get some help and lift it as much as you can, I had the same with a window once it was open I could adjust it, good luck !

Difficult to get 2 people in position to lift as got to use handle? My door is bit heavy so the 2 hinges adjusted should give same effect? Anyway let us know if works..
