“ Cardiff City player goes out on loan “

Mon Jan 28, 2019 3:39 pm

Portsmouth have signed striker Omar Bogle on loan from Cardiff for the remainder of the season.

The 25-year-old – who spent the first half of the campaign at Birmingham – will wear the number 22 shirt during his time at Fratton Park.

Blues boss Kenny Jackett said: “We’re very pleased to have Omar and he’s someone that we’ve followed from his early days at Grimsby.

“He’s got pace, he’s got power and a strong left-foot to score goals, so I’m looking forward to working with him.

“It strengthens an area of the pitch where we were lacking in options and he makes a good addition to our front line.”

Doesn't really effect us as he was out on loan anyway.

Medine is the only one we lost for numbers but replaced by Niasse.

I know that but wouldn't we rather have Bogle than Healy ?

Couldn’t even make Brum’s team, waste of a million pounds. At least Healey scores goals even if it’s in Division 2, he needs to go to a Championship club on loan?

Healy won't make the 25 either imo. He didn't last time and we have just as many players.

From what I've seen - Bogle is a country mile ahead of Healy in ability... Attitude may say otherwise though.

well that's 2 clubs Bogle has been to who had no interest in keeping him which is the opposite to what happens with Healeys loans..

I thought Bogle looked ok but there have to be issues of some sort ?

Bogle is better the Healey he just acts an asshole.

Bogle is better then Madine as well imo

Not sure how anyone can give a decent assessment of Bogle or Madine. We have hardly seen either of them in a city shirt. You need to watch these players week in week out to make a judgement.
On stats Madine would be the better player
As was said before, Bogle cant seem to settle anywhere so maybe there is a issue with him

Bogle acts like an asshole? Where did you get this from, what do you know that we don't... please share??

I thought Bogle looked decent but you have to question his attitude. Other than solihull and Grimsby he has failed to nail down a regular spot anywhere, 15 or less appearances. Not to mention 1 goal for Birmingham this season.

You have to question why.
