I believe it’s illegal if you’re the one who broadcasts it or if you show it in a public place, such as if you’re a landlord of a pub and choose this way to show live football instead of having a public contract with Sky.

But not illegal for those who just watch it in their own home.

Not 100% on that though, as I don’t use anything like that myself. I’m positive I’ve read this in the past, but I’m sure someone will be able to correct me.

I think it has something to do with a 30 second delay.. so technically it isn't live?

How easy is it to set up for those of us who are not so tech savvy.

Took me about 30 mins. He gave a step by step guide and answered questions I had for days... ( I'm not very good with things like that either ) Very helpful. :thumbright:

Ah I didn’t realise that. I thought there was legislation in place for people using broadband to view it.
Makes me wonder why not everyone has it. So many loopholes.

It is my understanding but am open to being corrected, that it is illegal to watch tv channels over iptv which require a subscription without paying that subscription. That would suggest that if Skysports is £20 per month and you are paying £10 for it that is illegal.
