Fair play to Leicester

Taken from twitter. Decent of them even though we can’t have another loan

Leicester offering to recall Islam Slimani from his largely unsuccessful loan at Fenerbahçe and loan him to Cardiff as a gesture of football solidarity. #lcfc #cardiffcity #bluebirds #Fenerbahçe

If that’s true, whether we’re allowed him or not, that’s an amazing gesture

I think if the FA were to grant us an extra 'emergency' loan slot nobody could really complain. I get them not wanting to extend the transfer window. But this could be a good compromise.

Fair play to Leicester City supporters. They've been with us all week. Real people

Sorry guys but although a great gesture I would rather we play by the rules on this one firstly because if he were to score the goals that kept us up I'd imagine the likes of Fulham etc would rightly be miffed and secondly a certain Mr tevez west ham and Warnock springs to mind

I think we all understand it isn’t possible. Just appreciating the gesture. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Think we should splash out and keep Arter which in turn frees up the loan spot to make this a viable option

Use a loophole if both clubs want the deal, work out the wages until the end of the season, let's say £1Million, we buy him from them for £1Million, with an automatic buy-back option for Leicester for £1 at the end of the season.

At the end of the season, they get their player back, or we can buy him at his true value if we want him, the player gets the wages from Leicester at the point we buy him.

Or we buy him for £1 and pay his wages agents bit whatever with an automatic buyback, there could be a way surely, provided Warnock wants him.

Saw something about this on twitter, believe it came from a spoof account though. Could be wrong and if I am then it’s a great gesture but I would think an unworkable one.
