During terrible times such as this its absolutley superb that the footballing community pulls together to show respect to those lost. Its great to see what bluebirds fans are laying at the keenor statue. While it looks unlikey Sala will be found we still hope he will.
Without trying to be inappropriate, I have a question that some kids in work were asking me which I have always wondered and im hoping someone can give an answer to.
When fans lay flags, shirts, scarves etc at clubs after something like this what happens to them afterwards?? Are they passed on to the family by clubs with a letter of sympathy? Do fans reclaim them? Are they sold off and monies donated to the victim's family?? Is there something else thst happens to them??
I have always wondered as fans doing this are doing so in respect and in memory...so what happens afterwards? The kids were also wondering and neither of us could answer.

I know Leicester collected in the shirts left for Vichai's memorial to wash them and to move them to a new location. Whether this is for a more permanent display or not I'm not sure sorry.
