This Motherwell money!

Needs to be paid asap! There's uproar about it everywhere, and the sooner Motherwell are paid off the better. We could do without the negative financial publicity around the club especially after recent HMRC events, and the superb signing of Craig Bellamy! I honestly believe Cardiff will get this sorted soon, they have to! Before any of our transfers past/future are intervened by the fa/prem. League etc etc....

Come on city - Pay up.

Craig I think thats why Boyle did what he did yest just to get publicity for himself and take the gloss off CCFC and to get everybody hating us , they have had months to complain about the money but they chose yesterday to do it . I agree tho that TG should sort out ALL the debts before the next embargo arrives ?

Wrong. McCormack was under 23 at the time, thus compensation was due.

We gave 120k to avoid a tribunal.

Even so, stating giving them money for McCormack to avoid a tribunal means we should somehow not pay them due money for Quinn isn't really a good argument to use in court...

Ledley is under 23 so how come then compo wasnt paid by Celtic to us ??????????

The fuss was about ledley being out of contract and a product of the Cardiff youth academy.

We must pay them in 7 days as Gethin said, however I am surprised that Motherwell chairman went on TV as he normally doesn't like publicity. When Motherwell went tits up in 2002 they ripped up the contracts of players and put them on the dole. He did not inform the players himself he got young girls from the club to do it as he didn't have the bottle.
As soon as these players were on the dole they then started signing new ones, and let's not forget the 600 staff of his and his brothers airline Zoom that were not paid when they ALL lost their jobs when the airline went down owing millions.
