MORE ON O’NEILL
14/01/19
Negotiations are at an advanced stage for Martin O’Neill to take over as Nottingham Forest boss, Sky Sports News understands.
The final details expected to be completed in the next 24 hours.
Those negotiations include the question of O’Neill’s back room staff - and whether O’Neill’s former assistant at the Republic of Ireland, Roy Keane, will be joining him at the City Ground.

Interesting...O'Neil going back to where he was a player, may be a good move for both parties, BUT, I don't think mad dog Roy Keane going too is a good idea. He was a fantastic player in his time, but he's not been successful in management to date! His man management is not good, and you can't bully and intimidate player today, to get the best out of them, look at the Harry Arter situation with the Rep. Ireland as an example. Keane is a no-no for me, go it alone Oneil!

To be honest I don't see him lasting long, he's past it.

Agreed. A dinosaur like Wenger, both lack in the ability to adapt to new formations and style of play.

My best mate is a Forest fan, lives down here so follows us as well however he isn't happy with this appointment and thinks they will freefall under Martin's old style management.
Surely with Jovetic available you'd go in for him, regardless of what happened at Fulham he is a forward thinking manager
