Ramsey agrees five-year deal at Juventus

Aaron Ramsey has reportedly agreed a five-year deal with Juventus that could be worth as much as £36 million.

The Welshman will bring the curtain down on a 10-year stay with the Gunners at the end of the season, having previously seen talks of a new deal to keep him in North London break down.

He has since been discussing a move away for the last few weeks, with Juve making little secret of their admiration to sign the 28-year old, who will be paid around £140,000 a week - making him their second-highest earner behind Cristiano Ronaldo.

Juve manager Max Allergri is believed to be a massive believer in Ramsey's ability, and is likely to hand him a regular place in the Juve starting XI, where he will likely play alongside the likes of Miralem Pjanic and Blaise Matuidi in a three-man midfield.

Isn’t it tax free?

Doesn’t seem a lot bearing in mind he was a free transfer.

I’m guessing he got a massive signing on bonus in lieu of transfer fee.

140k a wk for 5 years is close to 36 mill

I think your correct and there is a big lump to add to that as a signing on fee.
