Bad signings who've come good

Who was the last player Cardiff brought in who you thought at the time was an awful signing but they've gone on to be a great bit of business?
Lets say apart from Mendez-Laing or Ethridge.

I'm gonna go for Gabor Gyepes. Coming from Northampton to replace Glen Loovens I wasn't thrilled tbh. Turned out to be a decent player in my opinion! Great at rugby tackling too
