It’s a possibility that some deals aren’t as straight forward as others and I’d hope that the players we’re after have a few suitors.
As NW says, it’s pointless getting bodies in that are no better than we have, just for the sake of it.

Whenever a player hears that Cardiff is interested he instructs his agent to immediately start looking for a better option and won't sign for us until all better options have been ruled out.

We're probably every players "Plan B" or even "Plan C" in case nothing else works out.
