Current wage 55k a week, win bonus and goal bonus.
Apparently Villa are paying this and Wolves will have to beat it to secure his services.
Incredible wages for championship club.

Because they are desperate to return to the PL before there handouts run out... it’s a gamble and one that currently doesn’t look to be paying off

That’s not down to Abraham though as I believe that I am right in saying that he is the top scorer in the Championship. Press reporting that he would be paid approx 120k per week at Wolves.

Wow incredible figures. Shows how messed up the system is when a player who’s nowhere near the first team of his parent club can earn so much.
This explains why we don’t seem to have a look in. On pure footballing terms, a loan to us would surely be far better than Wolves for both the player and Chelsea as he’d have a much better chance of starting most, if not all, games. Let’s hope Chelsea think of the medium term financial benefits of giving him game time and let us off a few bob in wages

I thought the idea of a loan transfer was the loaning team payed half the set wages (payed by parent club) or the wages in full. I was’nt aware the loanee could demand other wages.

I'm always a bit unsure with loans too... always read that terms need to be agreed with players etc but didn't know if that included wages or more like playing time etc
