Cardiff will never take cup ties seriously

Until we are back in League one,until then we will either be fighting relegation from the prem or trying to make the playoffs in the championship.

I was there yesterday and I believe we took it seriously. We just lacked the necessary quality. Sadly we are a Premier club in name only.

I think the difference this year is that being in the top tier, priorities are elsewhere too. Not for one moment do I think Warnock wasn’t up for that game yesterday. He even spoke out about not wanting to be headline news as a victim of lower league defeat.

Yesterday was just a day to forget.
