Striker

Fair to say that most acceptvthe club messed up by trying to do thins on the cheap in the summer & not bringing in a decent striker. If we had I believe we would be well above the drop zone by now.

We were very lucky in that we brought in Arter & Camarasa very late on. With the window transfer window open & deals already being done by our rivals I hope that the club act sooner than in the summer. Less players available to choose from hence strong competition. Huddersfield have brought 1 in & Bournemouth 2 already whilst Palace went close to signing Solanke. There are only 17 games left & if we leave it to the end of the window that’s 3 less. It’s now that we need new faces. Never mind about haggling over 1/2million just do the deal.

Today highlights the fact how desperate we are for a reliable goal scorer. Paterson always gives a 100% but he is not an out and out striker.
