I honestly don't think we were ever "In" for Kamara and we haven't even been rumoured to be interested in Solanke. The only player I reckon that we wanted was Clyne and he's picked Bournemouth which Isnt really a surprise tbh.

If bournmouth can get 2 SIGNINGS over the line this quick and we have known since the season started that we needed more recruits why can' t we and if its down to wages then perhaps a meeting to change wage policy etc might help surely all these things have been discussed but the movement from us seems at best snail paced its just so frustrating watching others teams getting sorted aspecially players that the manager has earmarked himself niasse clyne are just 2. Clyne probably had a choice between the easy life on the south coast next to the beach easing through the season or a relegation battle with Us. Same wages whoever he plays for, i know which i would choose.

Why so surprised? Whether just paper-talk or City did not have a genuine desire to sign these players it was never going to happen when City only pay approx £30k/wk when players can get double that at mighty Huddesfield. We are are a million miles away from competing for transfers at this level. Solanke, a PL reserve, cost a £19m transfer fee and is probably getting £70k/wk.

I'll call a spade a spade mate.

If you know the history then you should be able to see the reason we're not doing business like others around us.

I've said this before, unless the Tan & the board change their low wage policy then the players they say that they are chasing are not going to come to Cardiff City. Cardiff pay the lowest wages in the Premiership.
