Rangers have agreed deals to sign Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones, according to reports in Scotland.

Dundee's Kamara is out of contract in the summer and has been tracked by Swansea City for the past six months, with boss Graham Potter having had him scouted on numerous occasions.

Cardiff City were believed to be favourites to sign the Finland international but Rangers have now stolen a march.

And, according to The Herald, the Ibrox club have agreed to bring in Hibs winger Jordan Jones, who was also being tracked by Swansea.

Jones is set to sign a pre-contract with Steven Gerrard's side and join at the end of the season.

The former Liverpool captain has been active in the transfer market, with a move for Bournemouth's Jermain Defoe and Southampton's Steveb Davis also close.

Bluebirds manager Neil Warnock admitted he was interested in Kamara last week.

He said: "I read that this morning, I’ll have to ask our lads if we’re interested!" he joked.

"He’s a good player without a shadow of a doubt, he’s one of a number of Scottish lads we’ve looked at."

However, it now looks as if the 24-year-old will sign for Rangers this month and join on a free transfer this summer.

The Scottish Sun are reporting that Swansea want Rangers star Ross McCrorie - but the Glasgow-based side don't want to sell.
