:bluebird: :bluebird: NEIL WARNOCK UPDATES CARDIFF CITY FANS :bluebird: :bluebird:

NEIL WARNOCK:

"I'm going to play a strong team against Gillingham , I want to get through if I'm honest," said Warnock.

"Especially for all the fans who are going to be travelling all that way.”

"There will obviously be people not involved from last week, the lads who have got little knocks.”

"There will be a couple of young lads coming as well, who have done so well with the Under-23s."

Camarasa and Arter picked up knocks in Cardiff's 3-0 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur and will not be risked.

Loic Damour is also set to feature despite being braced for a Cardiff departure in the next few weeks.

“We have a few injuries and I want them ready for Huddersfield”

Neil Warnock has vowed to field what he dubs 'a strong' Cardiff City side against Gillingham as he targets a confidence-boosting FA Cup run :thumbright: :bluebird:

NEIL WARNOCK:

Warnock Regarding the Spurs game:

"Without going into individuals, I was disappointed with two or three players,"

"We were let down badly by (them) not doing their roles and I was disappointed.

"But I'm afraid we're going to get days like that. We're going to get punished."

NEIL WARNOCK:

Warnock will rest key Premier League personnel such as Victor Camarasa, Sol Bamba, Harry Arter and Neil Etheridge, he also wants to secure Cardiff's first win of 2019 against the League One Gills.

Captain Sean Morrison is set to lead the team as normal, next to Bruno Manga, with Matt Connolly and Jazz Richards ruled out both with a virus.

Alex Smithies will make just his second Bluebirds appearance in goal, while Lee Peltier, Joe Bennett and Joe Ralls will play.

Young trio Cameron Coxe, James Waite and Lloyd Humphries will also travel as part of a 19-man squad after impressing Warnock with Cardiff's under-23s side.

NEIL WARNOCK:

Connolly was due to play but misses out with illness, while the returning Rhys Healey is also unavailable, cup tied after playing for MK Dons in their first round defeat to Grimsby in November.

Bobby Decordova-Reid and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing are likely to get opportunities to stake their claim for more regular first-team football.

Gillingham are currently 19th in League One and will fancy their chances of an upset against a tweaked Bluebirds side.

GILLINGHAM MANAGER STEVE LOVELL:

"Saturday will be a good experience for our players. It's a game we are all looking forward to," said boss Steve Lovell.

"All we can do is give our best. Whatever happens, we have to give everything if we are going to have a chance.

"It will be a good atmosphere. Cardiff will bring a few and they are well supported."

Hope we progress, love the F.A.cup, and how about the chance of a tie with the Jacks at home in the 4th round. Chance to avenge that last game we had with them.
