Personally I couldn’t care less if we lost, I’d prefer to lose, cup run doesn’t matter this year, play the youth and players that aren’t getting much game time and rest the first team, if they win, they win, but don’t play any first teamers.

Sion Spence is supposed to be our next bright young thing. I'd certainly have him in the team along with a whole bunch of our U23 team. League is our priority. We don't need a cup run.

Why risk first team players! We don’t need to win

Why are fans so negative about Cup matches, reflected in poor attendances?
They are essential to build confidence, give fringe players game time and , ultimately, make money.
Risking a couple of first steamers is no big deal, especially as we are supposed to be signing three this month.
If we get anywhere in the FA Cup attitudes will rapidly change.

Damour did OK off the bench against Fulham to help us see the game out, got a couple of cameo appearances as a sub. Bit harsh to judge players off of the back of one bad game where no one performed. Especially Connolly who has been great for us over the years.

Warnock made the mistake in the Carabao of picking too many who simply weren't match fit and Damour and Connolly are definitely not match fit, however well they've performed in the past.
