Noticed there are a lot of empty seats around the stadium today considering it’s a sell out and I don’t mean the segregation area either

My two seats were empty. At least I saved petrol money. Roll on Huddersfield.

It's new years day and on the tele. I didn't go, family time.

I can imagine there's a few feeling slightly rougher than they expected from last night so gave it a miss. Plus no public transport means you either drive in (and wait ages to get out) or pay a hefty fee for a taxi

Understand that, I watched on tv too, just annoyed me because I could have taken my kids again but couldn’t get hold of tickets for us because it was “sold out”

I couldn't get there as I am in London and no trains today.
The club should consider Ticket Exchange schemes other clubs have when they sell out.
They tried it for a while last time we were in the Premier but it was a bit hit and miss.
Clubs like Man City limit it so the season ticket holder can only see their ticket back for up to 6 times - which seems fair.
They all charge service fees. Some have variable prices so different amounts go back to the season ticket holder depending one the category of the game.
Man City just divide the cost of the season ticket by 19 and give that value back to the season ticket holder if the Exchange sell it on.

A row of 5 seats in front of me empty. I know they’re a family of Taffy’s and are ST holders but there were no trains running I understand so lots couldn’t make it.

You get a few empty seats whenever its a sell out, i think they couldn't get enough fans in the ground.

Chris Sutton made a meal out of the empty seats at the end.
Five live reporter disagreed and said the Cardiff fans had been brilliant.
Chris Sutton then said where is Jason Mohamed , I wonder if we will here from him tonight.
He really, really does not like us and took great delight in our defeat.
He really is a prick

More a wind up merchant for radio and (it seems) a good one, if he gets that reaction from people!

Thought it was a good crowd today, only issue I have is when everyone left on 80 minutes.

I was there to the bitter end - and always will stay - no matter what the score.

Why so many empty seats in segregated area, wasn’t for Man U and Arsenal games, and not at other Premier League grounds! sell out crowd should be 33500? Ridiculous to call it a sell out when so many empty seats!

Usually drive up from neath and am st holder..but didn't go as drinking until 4ish & didnt get up until 2.pm but I am still counted in the attendance ..not going to give my card to someone random just to attend, the club should make available my seats & reimburse % basis it's not rocket sceince

You know you can ring the club and put your seats up for sale for the games you can't make?

Me and the lad were there for our first half ST game - Zeelo'd it in. Brilliant scheme.
We left on 90 and a bit as I've got an abscess in me thigh at the mo so I'm moving a bit slower than normal.
The lad was peed off with me for that, but I didn't fancy the scrum from level 5 and risking knocking it as it f*cking hurts.

I went but no trains on the valley lines all day so understand why some people couldn't get there.
they didn't miss much anyway
