Throw ins

For me these long throws into the box are not working, I would love to see a short throw in with a quick one 2 and cross the ball in with pace plus we seem to give possession away with our throw ins . I am happy with the season don’t get me wrong but I think we can improve in this area .

I agree. Hardly anything productive comes from them. When they arrive, they're lacking any pace (as you'd perhaps expect from that distance!), the intended receiver invariably has his back to goal and cannot get anything on them. Josh Murphy actually takes the best throw-ins for us... quickly taken and almost always to feet of someone with a bit of space.

No pace on the throw in, also needs to be used on an angle not just whenever we are near the box?

I’ve said about leaving the long throws for the last 3 seasons, they don’t work, they struggled to work in the championship, never mind the prem, can anyone even remember the last time it worked??? Don’t think so. Especially as Morrison seems like he can’t head the ball very well this year, it just doesn’t work.

As well as throwins our corners are also aimed at Morrison and its failing miserably , for some reason he cannot head the ball in direction it should go
