I for one praised the club for getting the right balance in their pricing structure. If the demand is there you are entitled to charge the going rate. Many argued that based on the prices the team would be playing in a stadium with huge numbers of empty seats & no atmosphere.
I for one again praise the club as it seems that they do have their pricing structure correct. We have played 10 home matches this season with an average attendance of 30,903 and there has been an excellent atmosphere. The smallest crowd was against Brighton - 29,402 & the largest against Man Utd - 33,028. Well done Cardiff City FC.

I was one of the people you are talking about, and to be honest I stand by my comments.
Luckily, results have been better than expected and in the main our crowds have been great.
I am pleased by this, that said we were still 3,000+ bellow capacity against Southampton and Leicester and the reason for this is that that cheapest walk up tickets were £37.
The Club are clearly aware that they are struggling to sell the seats at match day prices for the lesser games hence the Bournemouth/Huddersfield offer and the offer they did for the Fulham game.
Regardless of how good our crowds have been, Cardiff as a City should be selling out week in week out in the Premier League and aren't, the reason for this, whether you like it or not is the match day price which is the reason the likes of me that 'dismayed' you made the comments we did.

We should all be happy that we are currently out of the bottom 3, playing in a near full stadium with a great atmosphere. Tomorrow should be another great occasion.

Why charge so much? Do ST holders really care? They have their seat cheap already, a seat they want by people they probably know. I’m not sure of how to play it in the future but I’d imagine the walk up would be huge if the price was decent.

Clearly I wasn’t referring to anyone in particular but I do recall some criticising the club. Where I do disagree though is you statement that we should be selling out in the Premier League week in week out. Cardiff is a big City but these days many would prefer to spend their money elsewhere or there are other distractions. We have filled our stadium over 90% every game where if you look at all the other clubs many don’t come near that figure. When it comes to pricing it is difficult to estimate how many fans will buy matchday tickets at a given price. Clearly if they made it £25 per ticket then there wouldn’t be an incentive to become a season ticket holder. Whereas if it was way overboard then they wouldn’t sell many. It’s fair to say that the club have done a decent job & don’t seem to be far out. I for one may have been critical of the club & their transfer dealings or lack of etc however give credit where it’s due.
With regards to the buy 1 get 1 free for the next 2 games they have clearly considered that they are not top 6 teams & it’s just after Christmas when some can’t afford it.
