Paul Merson's prediction
CARDIFF CITY V SPURS
The pressure's off Tottenham now, and they'll be like the Harlem Globetrotters. I can't see anything but an away win. You can go to Liverpool and get beat, or other places, but not at home by Wolves. They ripped Everton up, they smashed Bournemouth at home. But then the pressure was on, now it's off - they could be kicking themselves if Liverpool get beaten on Thursday, they could be three points behind.
Cardiff have been unbelievable. To do what they did after getting rinsed by Manchester United, to come back with two clean sheets and a 1-0 at Leicester, you've got to credit the manager, he's so underrated. It's phenomenal. They're out of the bottom three after 20 games which is a feat in itself, but they've got to keep on grinding away which takes its toll as the season goes on.
MERSE SAYS: 1-4 (20/1 with Sky Bet)

Is pressure realy off? If they did lose to us and Chelsea beat Saints at home on Wednesday spurs would drop another place, its not just about catching those ahead of you but also keeping infront of the ones behind!!

Thats exacly what i thought. There's still massive pressure on them to get in the top 4 and keep ahaead of the chasing pack after that awful result vs Wolves. Id say the pressure on them in this game is massive i mean imagine if they lost to Wolves at home and then another loss away at Cardiff it would be a catastrphe from a Spurs perspective. On the other hand there's no pressure on us at all, no one realistically expects us to beat Spurs and after getting 4 points from 6 in our last 2 away games this is basically a free hit for us where as the pressure is all on Spurs to win.

Every season every club gets at least one huge result against one of the big boys.
I dont think this will be our time because of the recent loss but i think it will be tighter than people expect.
2-1 spurs
