A forum for all things Cardiff City

For some time I've been impressed by this player and last season he was the one player I always thought looked dangerous to us when he played against us. I've also thought that Fulham fail to get the best out of him because he should be right in the centre doing exactly what Ken used to do for us. They want him to do some intricate poncy thing interweaving with sesignon around the edges of the hot spots which looks nice when it works but hardly ever does.
In fact he's a man who'd thrive on the "nineteenth century football " we play and if allowed to do his thing at Cardiff City he'd be scoring goal after goal after goal.
Everyone's seen the penalty incident from Saturday and apparently Fulham intend to take the "strongest possible action" against him. The relationship with the manager has obviously broken down badly.
If I were Sir Neil, I'd be on the telephone to Ranieri this morning arranging a medical and appealing to Mr Tan to provide the means. Yes it'd be a gamble but sometimes there's such a thing as a target of opportunity and whilst I do appreciate that my strong comment here is a contraversial one, I just have the feeling that we could pull it off and that it'd be something which would work out fantastically .
Opportunity knocks !!!

Sell to a relegation rival?

I agree with what you say about the player, I’ve been impressed with him every time I’ve watched him this season as well as last. But there is no chance in hell they’d sell him to us, not only has he been regularly starting (probably still will despite the weekends antics) he’s from one of our main rivals.

Jimmy I think you're a decent poster but I'm sure you make things up sometimes.
In the last 270 minutes of Football we have played against Fulham he's only played 30 of them in which he did nothing of note.

Good point. Perhaps I meant that when I watched them play in games which were important to us in terms of promotion he impressed me. You're probably right that most of that wasn't actually against us.
I didn't make up having watched him quite a few times last season though - I'm sure you recall that we all probably watched Fulham and Aston Vanilla a lot towards the end of the season there, to monitor our chances of promotion. I also certainly stand by the fact that he was their most impressive player in those games though but wasn't being used to the best effect.
I'm also impressed by your knowledge of and attention to detail though , and I thank you for pointing out my mistake.

I thought you might have mixed him up with someone else as I said I think you're a good poster overall.
Listening to the pundits after this incident on the weekend the general consensus seems to that he is a player Fulham can do without, the general consensus is that he wasn't exactly a pivotal role in their promotion either. I'll be honest I don't even remember a lot of him which made me check when you said you thought he was always a danger when he's played against us.
Football is all about opinions though, if you rate him you rate him

I read what Mitrovic said..he had done similar himself, everyone misses penalties and Kamara defo changed the game …
don't see them selling game changers to direct opponents when they have sooo much other garbage to put out.

Can we have Ryan Sessegnon instead. At least he'd stop scoring against us every time he plays us. Also seen Tom Cairney has been dropped from Fulham recently as he doesn't fit Ranieri's style of football. Reminds me of Whitts which means Warnock might not fancy that type of player. Don't think we need Kamara tbh and I also wouldn't see Fulham selling him to us + not sure if Warnock would want a player who puts himself before the good of the team and the club.
