NOW THAT'S OVER TO YOU Mr TAN

Sun Dec 30, 2018 11:39 am

It has been said on many occasions on this forum that if we were cast a drift after Christmas then the club would not bother to throw good money after bad, I think it was widely accepted that this would indeed be the case especially at the beginning of October. Well we have now achieved a platform for survival in the Premier, we are in very good shape. Cue Vincent Tan! with an investment of around £20M in January Warnock's Warriers can stay afloat for another journey next season one that is likely to yeald a greater dividend on such expenditure.

So come on Vincent lets no go crazy but put your money where your mouth is and you are gaining the respect of city fans more and more :occasion5:

Whistler started a collection last night but so far all he has raised is £5.42 in coins, a couple of quality Street wrappers and a few wry smiles! ;) :laughing6:

What £100m?

That’s an estimated figure

Last years wage bill was in excess of £30m before promotion bonuses wage increases new player transfers loan fees signing on fees wages of the new players and any excess debt for the high expenses last year

I’d say that’s £80m gone maybe more I’d be amazed if there’s anywhere near £20m left for transfers this window it would be nice but I’d say two loans and maybe one signing around £10m if we lucky

Regardless I can’t wait for Spurs now

Do we receive any money for promotion?
