Back to 4-5-1
It looks very much like a return to Neil Warnock’s favoured 4-5-1 system (which could become a 4-3-3 when Cardiff attack), with Greg Cunningham getting the nod at left back and Bruno Manga shifting across to right back.
Lee Peltier and Joe Bennett were the wing backs at Crystal Palace but both drop back to the bench today, so too do Bobby Decordova-Reid and Joe Ralls.
Cardiff will need Harry Arter and Aron Gunnarsson to be on their mettle against James Maddison and co in the Leicester attack.
Puel has picked a strong side that includes the matchwinner from this game earlier in the season, Demarai Gray.
STARTING 11
Neil Etheridge
Bruno Manga
Sol Bamba

Victor Camarasa
Junior Hoilett
Josh Murphy
Callum Paterson

Decent lineup away from home
Not quite sure what Hoilett does to keep his place every away game.
He limits us away from home as he doesnt have the pace to counter attack quickly enough

He puts in a lot of defensive work which Warnock loves and he’s also scored a couple of goals recently.
Mendez/Harris can come on later with pace if need be.

Totally puzzled me why he plays Hoillet even though he has been poor lately. As I've said so many times before we need to use our pace players so we are a threat on the counter. E.g. NML.

Much better defensively than NML.Hoilett puts a shift in.

Same lineup as we had against West Ham and Watford away from home.
Can’t wait to see this f****** disaster.

Maybe if we’d scored the penalty against West Ham.. we might have seen something similar in terms of performance. Incredibly professional job done today. Every man knew what was needed to get us over the line. Brilliant.
