at least Southgate has had a 500 prem lge game career captained and managed his country...im not saying that deserves recognition ..but a 25 year old with 30 odd caps..?

it's a joke ,Gareth Thomas wins arguably the toughest sporting event in the world and the joke which is a failure of the England football team recognised with the same honer . i am totally surprised how mr warnock has never picked up an award after so many years in football.
