So we signed a player who failed a medical/permanent knee in

Sat Dec 29, 2018 12:20 pm

Just reading Feed the beast by Jon Parkin, very honest and excellent read :thumbright: :bluebird:

Parkin never wanted to sign for Cardiff, but Dave Jones offered Parkin more money than Sheffield Wednesday did and it was to good to turn down.

Even when Parkin failed the Cardiff medical, DJ said he did not care and signed him even with virtually a permanent injury that would always trouble his knee.
Complete madness by Dave Jones.

Parkin also said he stood up to Craig Bellamy on the training field and from that day Bells respected him :thumbright:

Xmas present I had :bluebird:

Not me saying it Martin, Jon Parkin and if he was lying he could be sued.

You have to be honest paying £100,000 nearly 10 years ago for an injured player and on top of that wages, surely has to show the manager was well out of order and not competent in my opinion.

And yes I never rated or liked Dave Jones, 6 years and a failure in my eyes, given massive money to bring in the best players on high wages.

I have to say the book is ash excellent read :thumbright: :bluebird:

The whole club wasn’t competent at that time it’s hardly down to one person.
Stalls at a car boot sale are better run then us at that time.
