NEIL WARNOCK:

Have you got enough to stay up?
"When you've got fans like that and a club supporting you, you've always got a chance."
"Our dressing room is our strength, but I think we play a lot more than we get credit for. I think the lads get tainted because they're my team, whereas I think we play as well as a lot of teams in the league and we've got a bit of steel about us."
Can you give us a January transfer update?
"We're looking at bringing players in, but it's not as simple as that. What we're not going to do is have a gun to our head and spend stupid money."
"But it's always going to be difficult. Even if you sign players in January, you don't know if they're going to be able to play in the Premier League."
Warnock on Sala and money
"It’s not just money. Mehmet’s been brilliant, and Ken. They realise how hard it is in this window. Good teams don’t necessarily do their business in January. Everything in the summer went so quickly. We thought we had one and then didn’t. Whether we had money or not. It’s always a gamble. Even with Sala. Unless they’ve played in the Premiership, it’s always a gamble. You find with strikers though you do have pay over the top."
Is Vincent Tan being cautious?
"You always look back at the past. Some say he wasn’t a good signing or he wasnot a good signing. I think as manager we made signings to get promotion. I thought they all contributed to us getting into the Premier League. I look at the signings and some criticise you for buying Championship players. Why throw money away, why not invest in players that are going to appreciate in value and I think they have."
