Fri Dec 28, 2018 11:28 am

Simon Jordan ex owner of Crystal Palace.

@SJOpinion10 believes having Neil Warnock as manager gives Cardiff the edge over their relegation rivals.

Simon Jordan is a massive fan of Neil Warnock, having worked closely with him at Crystal Palace :thumbright:

Jordan himself is no mug and I enjoy listening to him and his 'owner's perspective' opinions on TalkSport :ayatollah:

I listened to him this morning

He said he had spoken to Neil after the game and was happy with their performance, he said that Warnock had told him he felt the players had let him down again Man Utd.

Agree with Sven, SJ is decent to listen to on there.

I really enjoy his talks on there and he is a very clever guy with knowledge of how things happen inside of a club. I also think he is bang on the money with his Warnock talk

The same Simon Jordon that sacked Warnock in 2014 and brought in Alan Pardow?

You need to listen to what Simon Jordan (and others, including Neil Warnock) had to say on that subject!

Simon Jordan did not 'sack' his (then) good friend Neil Warnock; rather Neil Warnock became disenchanted after the club went into administration in January 2010, Simon Jordan lost his grip (and a large part of his fortune) and he (Warnock) joined to QPR

Simon Jordan was understandably bitter and said at the time that he felt "let down" by Neil Warnock quitting Crystal Palace and claimed there was "no morality" in his former manager's decision.

Thankfully, the rift was eventually healed. Neil Warnock and Simon Jordan remain good friends to this day and respect each other immensely ;)

The book (below) is well worth a read :ayatollah:

I apologise Sven that I got that wrong, will try to get his book. Let’s hope Simon Jordon is right with his prediction!
