Who should the club be looking to move on this january ?
Out :
Gary Madine (Not good enough)
Danny Ward (Injury prone)
Loic Damour (Not used)
Jazz Richards (Injury Prone)
Matt Connolly (Not good enough)
I would then bring in Anthony Pilkington for Gary Madine as he is a better and cheaper option who can play anywhere across the front three.
That will then free up four places and approx 80k in wages to bring in four new players to improve the squad with the positions we need
I would not try and blow a load of money but enough to give us a chance of staying up and make us very strong next season if relegated.
Striker
Neil Maupay -Brentford- £8mill
Def Midfielder
Ampadu - Chelsea - loan
Playmaker
Forestieri -Sheff Wed- £5mill
Right back
Ivo Pinto - Norwich - £5mill

Can't find fault with that at all.

Good shouts are these. But the plastics want big sexy names from over the channel.

Ampadu and the bloke from Sheff Wed are good shouts, never seen the bloke from Ipswich and feel like Maupay is too much of a risk would rather Defoe on loan for 6 months.
Slightly harsh on Ward wouldn't get rid myself.

No, hard to think of better for the outlay they would cost

Problem is nowadays you can't really get rid of players if they are being overpaid for how good they are. Sure Madine might go to Bolton but we would end up paying 80% of his wages same as with Tomlin at Peterborough. If someone wants to buy him cheap we might let him go but he would want a big chunk of his wages from us.
All the others will be on more money from us than they would get elsewhere so will simply refuse to leave unless we pay them up.If it was easy to get rid of these players we would have got rid of them a while back.Lets face it if you were guaranteed to be paid £30,000 a week By us for the next two years would you go and play for Bolton for five grand a week.

We might as well sell zohore if he' s out again for several weeks the season will be almost over perhaps we could put the money towards a striker who does 'nt get injured if he sneezes

For me I would hold on to Connolly and just hope we never have to use him. Ward has looked capable whenever required and is a useful squad member.
Striker wise I'd be going for Solanke, feel we have tried smaller strikers and they just don't suit our style. If not try it looks like tammy Abraham could be available to buy which would clearly be Warnocks choice.
RB I would still be targeting Clyne on loan now TAA has returned to fitness.
Defensive midfield I have no idea as there doesn't seem to be any names linked. I personally think Besic would be a shrewd buy.

get rid of zohore if a bid of 5mil came in he would be first out the door connelly id keep he can play across the back 4 if either bamba manga or mozza got injured we would be screwed

How many players would have to get injured though for Connolly to actually get near the 11.
