But at least 50% of our attempts were on target whilst Palace had just 16% Clearly we have better strikers but hang on we don't have a striker

Most of their shots where from Bridgend. Pointless having 30 shots from 70 yards away

We had the 2 best chances out of the 39 and blew both of them.

A half decent striker would have had a hattrick today even though palace were all over us

I think Palaces shot stats away to Man City last weekend were similar in that City had loads of chances and missed a lot while Palace made the most of their opportunities on the break with very limited possession.

Our ball retention wasn't too bad today but we just need to take more the chances we do create.

This was the first of two difficult away games which we can't afford to lose if we want to stay in our position until we get more players. Therefore it was a very good result. It's worth noting that we had a clean sheet and that doesn't happen too often these days.
Of course some people will moan but I don't think they've got a grip on realistic football
