Time To Unleash Ken

Wed Dec 26, 2018 10:29 am

Time to unleash kenneth zohore today v palace. Paterson has done alright but the difference between him and zohore who looks interested is massive imo. Paterson chipped in with a few goals but i just dont think hes good enough overall. Zohore when he is up for it is very good and is a match winner, he could be the difference today in getting 3 points a draw or nothing. Absoloute nightmare for defenders with his pace and power lets hope he can get back to his best..

Nothing I'd like better Rhiw than to post on this topic this evening that you were right and Ken tore them apart today at Palace. Sadly imho I'm more likely to come on here and post that I saw Santa on his way back to the North Pole!

Ken Zohore is not Premiership standard and apart from a short purple patch, wasn't really the answer in the Championship.

If we are really aiming to stay in the Premiership, we must invest proper money now in a striker who has Premiership level goal scoring ability - if not - yep unleash Ken!

Happy that he’s now getting back to fitness. We need everyone fit and fighting for places.

Unleash him in the transfer window to pastures new

When zohore came on briefly against Manchester United, look quite promising getting is some good spaces. But that was with Patterson supporting him so he needs someone to support him up top. I still believe we should get a decent striker to add competition and offload madine and tomlin and pilkington.

Nothing against Ken personally but that's been the problem with him since day one - he promises a lot more than he ever delivers! Ken isn't the answer - no presence in the air and lacks the physicality to be an effective one man strike force - possibly lining up alongside Patterson could improve his effectiveness but its not the NW way to play 2 up front.

Said it before and I’ll say it again.

He’s not fit enough to start matches yet.

Spurs is the earliest he will be able to, probably getting 20-30 minutes today and at Leicester.

I might be wrong, and Warnock may see it differently.

Give 45 mins run your guts out and sub half time or 2nd half 45 mins. Probably give him first 45 if he's flagging bring him off

Cant really argue with replies from this post. Ken isnt the answer long term hes way too inconsistent and we need a new frontman for january 100 percent to give us a fighting chance of staying up. I just feel paterson has been ineffective recently and needs a break, reid took his place today and didnt do too bad and had some good touches and clever play but i feel ken could have had a bigger impact than paterson and reid today but god knows where he was?
