I wouldn’t say Murphy and Reid are shit.

Reid and Murphy are clearly class players but we have to revamp the entire team ( a 2-3 year process) to fit them in to a certain "evolved" style of play.

We can't evolve our style of play in one season as we don't have £300m to spend.

Strange post. Murphy and Reid are top players and were probably the best stab we could get for what we were paying, they will do a job if we go down they will terrorise defences.

well if he told me he desperately needed back up for Zohore and the player costs 2mill..but Bolton want another 4 mill if we go up...and then we go up ,I wouldn't be thinking that was a waste of money for starters….

He can use Reid more as we become more comfortable in the league. He's a luxury player because he doesn't do that much else except jump on chances and half chances, which he does very very very well indeed.
For the moment everyone needs to be running round like blue arsed flies to keep up with much better opposition than we've been used to, and so Sir Neil can only risk him for brief periods , but make no mistake he'll be a prolific scorer for the club in the future one way or another.
