EXCLUSIVE: Cardiff set to beat Celtic, Rangers to Finnish midfield star


Cardiff City are set to land Finnish international midfielder Glen Kamara, we can exclusively reveal.


The Dundee ace is out-of-contract at the end of the season, and has been attracting attention from a host of clubs in the Premier League and also from Old firm giants Celtic and Rangers.

The 23-year-old – who came through the ranks at Arsenal – joined Dundee in 2017, but he is now set to move on and he is on course to signing a pre-contract with Cardiff.

Once the pre-contract is in place Cardiff could make an offer to make the deal permanent in January, but if they don’t he would move to the Welsh capital for nothing in the summer.

Got to be better than gunnarson? For me gunnarson is not good enough to start games but would excellent as a super sub.

Dont see us waiting until the summer, would be of no benefit to us, the player or Dundee.

We're not in a position to take on anymore chancers, Scottish league football is bog standard and a huge step up into the premier league, much prefer someone with experience with the task ahead.

Patterson turned out OK for a cheap buy. it's a bit worrying that he is a midfielder who has played 62 times mainly for Dundee but previously on loan at Colchester and has never scored a goal. Assume he is some sort of defensive holding type player.

Weren't we in for someone last time we were up that was from a Scottish side? Was it wanyama? I can't remember now but he's done ok hasn't he? And Liverpool don't seem to have any problems with van Dijk. He was at Celtic wasn't he?

Ball winning defensive midfielder, decent enough and for a couple of hundred K probably worth a punt. Obviously the step up in levels would be huge but for the money worth a go.
