Angry Birds

Sun Dec 23, 2018 4:08 pm

Just watching Tottenham playing some team I hadn't heard of before called "Everton ".
Not much to report on the match itself, but I notice that the Everton players have "Angry Birds" written on their shoulder flashes.
I've no idea what this means, but I'm assuming that they're sponsored by the Victoria Derbyshire show. If this is the case, it's yet another example of the BBC bias in football.
Still, I suppose if Gary Lineker is making money out of advertising crisps and trying to get a knighthood for opposing Brexit when he's a presenter , there's no reason why Victoria and the others shouldn't secure their future - can't see them finding husbands to look after them I suppose .

Think you find large majority of BBC interviewers on tv/radio are self employed and run a production company that is used by BBC something to do with tax....

That's quite right Allan. Not sure whether Victoria Derbyshire is a production company, but they certainly use staff reporters and corporation facilities, so probably not. I'll find out.
Everton just scored

Sky is 100% zero hours and self employed but the BBC do have staff contracts in some cases

Make that 5 glad we’re not the only team at home to concede 5 goals this weekend. :laughing6:

What a job Pochettino is doing has to be the Spurs best manager in a long time.

If we play like we did yesterday on New Year’s Day it will be a cricket score and I’m going to that game so I hope not.
