One of those things

I sort of expected this to be honest.
We got on the wrong end of the fact that all these world class players were allowed to go at it in an uncontrolled way.
All you can do is put it behind you and carry on. By good chance it hasn't hurt us badly in terms of the table , so we'd better pull it together and get back to the standard we'd been reaching.

I really really really wish people wouldn't start venting all this negative stuff because if we lose the pretty much unanimous backing of the supporters that'd be the end of it.
If we want to do what we can to help ,then it's everyone's duty to discourage defeatist and negative people from panicking before it speaks through the ranks. In a more sensible society of course, we could simply have these people shot, but apparently that's illegal now. Political correctness gone mad !

You need to have a word with Warnock about negativity.

Success this season for me was simply to end the season with three sides beneath us. Anything better would have been a nice bonus. Going to be tough, and I suppose the transfer window is now very important for us. Unfortunately, I am not convinced the budget will allow to us to strengthen as much as we would like, hopefully a couple of quality loans providing Warnock can persuade his targets to join the relegation battle.

Are we only allowed-one more loan? I’m not sure.

Not sure. I think the rules say no more than two loan signings at one time, with a maximum of four. I'm sure someone will put me right on this, I find it as confusing as today's offside decision.

One more from English league. Can get another from abroad.

Yes that's absolutely right. It's going to be hard and there are obviously opponents in this league we can't yet compete with. Our standards in the games we can win though are okay. Today was in a way a repeat of Liecester City where we had to play a team reacting to a big event.

Whilst I appreciate what you are saying Jimmy about us having to play teams reacting to a big event in both Leicester and Man Utd; surely saving our Premiership status should be an even bigger event than any other for us?

I also understand it will be a very long time, if ever, before we can compete on a level playing field financially with huge clubs like Man Utd but I'm sorry, the time for making excuses is gone. If we cannot find the funding we desperately need in January to at least reach the Shangri-La of fourth from bottom and stay in the EPL and grow again next season - and comments like "it is very difficult to get VFM in January" don't really wash as we knew that last summer and could/should have spent more than we did in the summer to fill the glaring gaps in the team that we were aware of even then and thus avoided the January inflation - then what was the point of going for promotion in the first place?

Whilst no-one begrudges VT getting his investment back over a period of time; the current transfer market inertia and excuses already being made by the hierarchy at the club, imho clearly suggests to me that last season's promotion was just a simple short term exercise to fill coffers with TV and the subsequent parachute payments that are guaranteed next season following the fully anticipated (by club hierarchy) and obligatory relegation.

Call me cynical or ungrateful if you like but imho we as city fans deserve better. This forum is filled with die hard true Cardiff City fans who spend their hard earned cash to fill the Cardiff City stadium to support our team - whether as fans they are supporters of VT & NW or not - surely we all deserve more than being treated as mushrooms (kept in the dark and fed on bullshit) and to see our team financially supported to an extent which is better than the lowest spenders in the league by some distance otherwise what was the point in aspiring to be better in the first place by gaining promotion?

Actually we can loan as many as we like from abroad, as the quota's do not apply to players brought in from another association, but the Wales association is ruled out of that. As far as I can see Scotland and Ireland are not mentioned in the rules, so if I am correct then we can loan from Scotland and Ireland! feel free to correct
