The penalty killed us, it wasn’t a penalty though. He put his foot into the mix, but it’s not a penalty in a million years. But I thought the ref did well today.

The back four are making mistake after mistake but still he persists with playing Morison, Bamba and Bruno in a back four.

The problem is that Warnock has no real alternatives so although you could make a case for dropping all three of them there is nobody to replace them.

For me Bruno is the best centre half at the club and the worst full back at the club.

Morison and Sol have had some absolute shockers this season and today was no exception. It's not their fault but they are not good enough. They get little or no protection from our midfield and they cannot cope with talented players running at them with pace and skill.

If we are genuinely going to attempt to stay in the league, realistically speaking we are looking at two full backs, a centre half, a midfield holding player and at least one and preferably two strikers.

As we know that isn't going to happen so we just need to get on with it.

Trouble is cannot see NW changing everyone can see what he's doing as limited success and the only way is down from here unless he as brain storm and put round pegs in round holes Instead of square pegs in triangler holes!

Totally agree with you. Zohore is the best striker we have. Peterson gives 100% every game, is better in the air than Zohore however Zohore is the better striker. Has more pace, holds the the ball up well, creates chances & has a very good shot on him. I know he goes missing sometimes but I would still start him before Paterson.

I am not a fan of Zohore, and I don't think he is Premier League quality. I will give credit when I think it is deserved, and I thought he did as well as he possibly could have given the quality of those around him, and considering that he had so little time on the pitch to have much influence. However, it can be easy to be up for these sort of games wanting to make a point against the top players. It's consistency that is now needed, and the willingness to bust a gut when playing against the lesser teams. Let's hope he can keep it up for the rest of the season, we need everyone at the top of their game if we are to have a chance of staying up.

Reading Warnock's comments on here, it looks as if we are not even close to signing any of the previously mentioned strikers, and I doubt if we would be in the market for a player in the French league unless the asking price is a lot less than the £15 to £20m which has been thrown around on earlier threads. Could be an interesting January, and I still think one of our problems will be persuading quality players to join a relegation threatened side.

Not confident about an away win as Burnley took until last away game to get win and look where they finished? But as you say things are different and even if relegated i am confident that we will be fighting for promotion again next reason

Agree Zohore had a good game when he came on but part of the reason for that is that we were so far behind we actually did some attacking rather than get nine men round our penalty area. It's difficult for Patterson or indeed any of our forwards to look good when they are isolated up front. Still not convinced that Patterson is not our best forward I hope Zohore will come good but won't be holding my breath. Judging by the managers comments we won't be getting anyone in for big money. Maybe the geezer from Everton is the best or option if there is anything to the story.
