SHOCKING PERFORMANCE

Worst i have seen this season stood off no fight really not in it i thought this would have been the game of all games to give it a go embarrassed by the score line nothing much to add but gutted with the lack of fight and a 3 hour journey home, christmas my a.se.

It was embarrassing, mate. Even the players looked ashamed of the result after the final whistle.

Not sure what we expect of them though, when their manager is in the media every weak telling the whole country how sh** we are.

And to think If we were still in the Championship, getting beaten by 5 goals here 4 goals there, Warnock would have been sacked by now.

Talking with them they can’t believe how poor we were. They were expecting a really tough game but we just sat back and made them look like the world beaters they are not

Everything about that performance was wrong. Players should be ashamed of themselves for just rolling over

I thought we would always be on a bit of a hiding to nothing tonight. Bunch of world class players, all out to prove it was Mourinho not them that was at fault.

They would have made an awful lot of sides in this division look poor. Move on to the next game.

I'm not sure you can blame the players.

They are Championship players who are not up to the standard required of the league they are in. That's not their fault -they're out of their depth.

It can't help that publicly at least the manager doesn't seem to feel that that they are good enough and seems to be playing up the strengths of every team we have played against. The "underdog" mentality is not really working.

Worryingly we don't look on the field as if we really believe we have a chance against the top teams. It's almost as if we are beaten before the game even kicks off and that's how the players seem to be approaching the games.

We've been thoroughly outplayed in virtually every game we've played this season and the amount of individual and team mistakes must be extremely frustrating for everyone concerned.
