Ole Gunner Solskjaer is speaking to BT Sport
Life as Manchester United started fairly well Solskjaer. Here’s what he had to say to BT Sport:
Football’s easy if you have good players. They are such a great bunch. I’ve had two days with them. I think all that texting and advice from Wayne Rooney helped! He told them just to enjoy football, go forward and be Manchester United.
The easiest thing to work on is workrate. It’s free and it’s down to the application of the boys.
It’s a great dressing room. They’re footballers and they want to give their best for the club. We take one game at a time now. We’ve caught up nine point leads from clubs before but it’s one game at a time. You can’t do anything other than the next training session.
Lingard and Rashford
Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard has been speaking to BT Sport afterwards.
Yeah it’s been good (under Solskjaer). The lads played with a lot of energy and excitement and we topped it off with five goals. When you’ve got confidence, you want to be scoring goals and taking penalties and that’s what I’m there to do.
The quick play was positive and we were playing higher and creating chances.
His team-mate Rashford also faced the cameras afterwards.
He (Solskjaer) wants us to be positive, look for the gaps and always play positive football. That was just the start today but we’re going to improve. Today was a good start.
The Christmas period is very busy and we have a lot of games coming thick and fast, but we have to keep improving in training.

They made me comfortable, the boys. I know the staff, I’ve had some great days now. The players have gone out there and Rash that’s a great strike to make it difficult for the keeper. That strike settled us down. The energy of the crowd here, I know, you need to quieten them down.
Positives?
Quite a few to be fair! The attitude and application of the players, it’s been fantastic. The way they approached this game has been good, because it’s been a difficult week for everyone. Impressed.

Said as much before the game. “It is so much easier coaching god players than bad players”. But I see it’s popular to cut them quotes out at this site..

Yes, maybe a little bit too much, because when you’re a Man Utd player you want the ball. When we work more with each other and trust each other, we might even improve a little bit.
United haven’t scored 5 goals since SAF last game?

One of them things I’ve talked about is Man United should never been out-worked. I’m pleased with every single one of them. When you have the legs of Martial and Jesse Lingard down the sides, it’s exhilarating to watch.
Explain that performance?
They’re good players.

I’ve been there as a player for 11 years and it makes you proud. It’s emotional. It’s a long ride back to Manchester but I’m glad I’ve given them something to cheer today.

If I were a United fan (like so many dotted around the ground today 
) I wouldn't be relaxing too much yet.
They're only 17 points above the bottom three and with Ole in charge that buffer could soon disappear!

He’s obviously shite at coaching bad or lesser players no disrespect to ours as we all know so good luck to him the jammy bugger for having the tools any manager would dream of.
