Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been booed by Cardiff City fans on his return as Manchester United's interim manager.

Bluebirds fans were present to give Solskjaer a less-than-warm welcome as the Norwegian stepped off the Manchester United team bus, booing the 45-year-old on his arrival.


Solskjaer had been appointed interim boss at Old Trafford after they sacked Jose Mourinho earlier this week.

But many Bluebirds fans will remember Solskjaer for a disastrous eight-month spell in charge of Cardiff City.

Under the former Manchester United striker, the club dropped from 17th in the Premier League from when he took over to 17th in the Championship by the time he was sacked.

And those fans made their feelings known ahead of the Premier League clash between the two sides.
