EVERTON ANNOUNCE CAPACITY PROPOSAL

Everton have revealed they are proposing to have a capacity of 52,000 at their new stadium with the potential to increase that by another 10,000 to 62,000.

The club's new ground will be at Bramley-Moore Dock - a short distance north of Liverpool city centre.

The design of the stadium will make it easy to install safe-standing areas. The club will hold a second public consultation next summer and aim to submit a more detailed planning application in the second half of 2019.

The club hope to move into the new stadium by the start of the 2023/24 season.
