Cardiff City want to sign striker Everton Oumar Niasse
Everton want to offload the striker, who has appeared just four times for Marco Silva's side in the Premier League this season playing 48 minutes of football.
Niasse was linked with a cut-price move to Cardiff in the summer after a tongue-in-cheek remark from Warnock on the radio suggesting he wanted to sign him.
Whether that be on a loan or permanent deal remains to be seen, with the Senegalese striker — formerly of Hull and Lokomotiv Moscow — reportedly earning £55,000 per week.
Cardiff have made signing a striker their priority in January and have been linked with Nantes forward Emiliano Sala among other targets.
