Cardiff City Midfielder returns from Plymouth Argyle loan as Everton striker becomes available -

Stuart O'Keefe's loan to Plymouth Argyle has been cut short by injury, with the midfielder returning to Cardiff City earlier than planned.
The 27-year-old was loaned to the League One side in August but has been plagued by an Achilles injury, for which he will now receive treatment back in the Welsh capital.
O'Keefe, who is in the final year of his Cardiff contract, has made 13 appearances in all competitions for the Pilgrims.
But he won't recover from the injury before his loan deal is scheduled to end (in early January), so has returned to Cardiff — though is likely to seek another move in the New Year.
O'Keefe has not been in Neil Warnock's plans for the past two years, playing on loan at MK Dons, Portsmouth and most recently Plymouth.
The news comes with the January transfer window opening in 11 days.
