Wed Dec 19, 2018 1:33 pm

Probably one of the non-league boys we've been linked with.

And Zohore coming back to fitness will be like having a new multi million pound striker in the team!

I mean, we've tried an 11m 5'8 striker in bobby reid
We've tried the championship proven Target Man for 5m in Gary Madine

Neither have been what we wanted, especially Madine. Reid still has a role to play though.

Patterson who we paid 300k for is actually doing bits for us and at the start of the season we've only really asked for a 10-15 goal a season striker...and Patterson is on Course to hit that mark.

We have Zohore coming back too..

I don't think spending big bucks on "proven" strikers who aren't being picked for their club anymore is a good idea, frankly because there's probably a more underlying reason why they don't want them anymore.

I think it might be worth spending 2-3m on a 18-20 year old with potential, because at the very least if it doesn't work out we still have Patterson, Zohore & Reid...who let's be honest are probably better than a couple relegation rivals around us.

So yeah, 18 year old with potential who will be fresh and ambitious and surely willing to take EVERYTHING Warnock has to say on board. As we know there's alot of "proven" strikers out there who would probably not want to play the way Warnock wants them to, resulting in them being dropped...

I think Abraham is gonna be the striker we are super close by the sounds of it all.

It is though.. He wasn't in "form" earlier in the season for us, but that's also the fact we were conceding far too many for him to even make a difference, and when we weren't conceding our general attacking play just wasn't working, players hadn't quite settled in I.E Hoilett was very poor, we had Bamba in Midfield etc etc.

Last season he actually did what he needed to do without scoring goals. His job last season was to do the dirty stuff like holding ball up etc etc, he helped us counter attack and even got a few goals too.

You must've forgotten how prolific and OUTSTANDING he was for us during the 16/17 season when he was running from one end to the other beating 3-4 players on his own and scoring for fun.

Why all of a sudden we're in the premier league very few people are remembering how good he was and actually how he helped us climb up the table with goals he should never have scored...

He's got it in his locker, so yeah I'd say he's worth multi millions if we're going off actual ability instead for form...

I think that's the problem. It seems so long ago that he was prolific and outstanding that a lot have forgotten. He may have something in his locker, but whether that is at this level of football remains to be seen. I am sure he will get an opportunity soon, it's up to him to take it.

he might have a lot in his locker but he needs to find the "key" soon otherwise the season will be over.

Everton looking to make changes in Jan
Cardiff have been handed a transfer boost ahead of the January transfer window with Everton looking to sell one of the players Neil Warnock is looking at.

The Bluebirds have struggled at times this season and are set to remain in a relegation battle for the majority of the campaign.

They are just two points above the relegation zone and will be looking to strengthen in January in hope of avoiding the drop.

Everton, meanwhile, are a club looking to sell some players to make room for arrivals.

The Toffees’ squad is still bloated after failing to trim their squad fully in the summer transfer window.
Morgan Schneiderlin is one of the players who could leave and another comes in the form of a Cardiff target Oumar Niasse.

Only reason he is being potentially recalled is because of the offer we already gave to them.

No but potentially, there was an article or radio snippet of Dean Smith saying he could be recalled because of interest and an offer from a team wanting him on permanent so Villa are considering Maupay. :ayatollah:
