Right guys years back there was a guy used this site who replaced iPhone batteries, does anybody remember who it was ?
Apple have owned up to descreasing battery life on iPhone 6s and lower models which is why until end of this month they’re doing battery replacements for £25 however went in earlier and possibly 10 day wait, can’t go 10 days without phone as I gave my iPad to my daughter so we could communicate so literally phone is all I have

10 day wait is for the appointment? The actual process takes an hour or two max.

Mine took about 10 minutes to actually swap out the battery. I presume 10 days is the wait for an appointment or the battery if they're out of them. You might want to try the apple website & have a look for authorized suppliers/repairs, few & far between I would have thought over there but worth a shot & give them a call if there's any in your area.

There’s loads of guides on YouTube on how to do this yourself and you can buy the battery on EBay, Amazon etc.
It’s a bit fiddly but I did it recently for my son and it took about 45 mins.
Just make sure that you also get new adhesive strips with the battery and the special screwdriver to open the case as well.
Cost of the battery with the screwdriver was about £14 delivered IIRC.
