3-5-2 going forward /January transfer signings

Sat Dec 01, 2018 6:07 pm

Do we stick too this formation but actually play players in correct positions, I’d love too see

Etheridge

Bennett down the left
A new attacking rightback come January (Clyne ?)

Bruno Morrison Bamba

Camarasa gunner/new Dm in the window tolgay arslan? Arter

Paterson/new signing in January (Llorente) .. new signing - (maupay)

Really think with those additions and formation we could compete a lot better in the division

I think a better team would have exploited the huge spaces all along the back Friday especially the first half. At one point Wolves had 4 or 5 attackers against 1 defender, thankfully a poor touch from them helped us out.

Not a fan of it. besides if we are playing winbacks the obvious option is Patterson.

Despite the good result, we did look a bit dodgy in defence... there's too much space down the wings when we are on the back foot and nearly got caught out a couple of times!

No, that was a special arrangement specifically to exploit the weaknesses I kept on about which Wolves have. Everyone is doing them like that now, but if we started doing that against other teams we'd soon be in trouble
