I'm thinking that we can reasonably expect 21 or 22 points after Christmas and with the eleven we've got that's 33.
That's not quite good enough, so what we get in the next month will be vital

We need nine points from the next six games. Call it 8 which would also work and that means that if we won just one of them and drew the rest we'd probably be safe . Two wins, which is plausible and we'd need only two points out of four games.

I said before the season started that only around 34 points would be needed to survive and 36 would easily be safe. With 5 games to go till the halfway mark we are looking good IMO. Niceish rum of games coming up aswell no reason to think we can’t get more than 6 points from our next 5 games.

Could even be less than 34 points to be safe. I think everyone agrees we have three seperate mini leagues in this division, and with the obscene money now involved in the game, the gap between these leagues is getting bigger. We are in a battle with 6 or 7 other teams in our own little league, and all 7 sides will be looking to take the bulk of their points from the 12 or so games they will pay against their main competitors. A good return would be say 24 points from these games, and then it's just a matter of how many bonus points can be picked up against the teams in the top two sections of the PL. I think it could be a record low number of points to stay up this season, and I agree that 34 points should be plenty.

As long as we don't panic when we lose against a top team which is undoubtedly going to happen and target the more winnable games we have a good shout. I have every faith in our team and management to fight until the end like I haven't in a long time

History tells us that we need another 8wins and a couple of draws to stay up this season? The loss against Burnley was disappointing as they were the worse team I’ve seen this season but stay strong at home with our fantastic support and I’m sure we can stay up and get stronger!
