25 man squad

Really confused on this. We have named a 25 man squad for the start of the season.
If we sign more players in the January transfer window - do they just get added to the squad or do we have to take a player out of the squad to keep it down to 25?

Players have to be taken out of the squad, you can’t have more than 25 players (apart from exclusions, like Under 21s).

Of those 25, at least 8 of them must be “home-grown”.

Can only register players during transfer windows as well.

Here my 25 by dropping players and selling some.

Gives us 5 extra faces, a RB, midfielder, winger and maybe 2 strikers. Realistically people this is what is the ideal scenario
