I couldn't go yesterday, but everyone says we should have had a penalty? From the highlights, it seemed the referee continually gave decisions against us and wound our players up with Arter continually protesting and Camarasa talking himself into a booking.
Match of the Day didn't show our penalty incident and Warnock just said he was disappointed with the foul on Harris and the throw in not being given to us in the build up to their goal. I was waiting for Warnock to talk about our penalty, but he didn't mention anything.
Should we have had a penalty?

Yes.

Definitely. I was in line with it and about as close you can get to the incident from the stands and at the time it looked clear cut to me. I haven't seen it since so I may be wrong but I am still amazed that BBC didn't show it- and that Warnock didn't make anything of it. I have heard some people say that the maybe the defender just knicked it off Cunningham foot first, but if so why did the ref give a goal kick and not a corner?
I can't understand people who were at the game not saying they didn't see a penalty incident even if they felt it wasn't, because everyone around us were livid.
There was less than 10 mins left so it would have been crucial if we had scored.

Certainly looked clear cut from the stand. Watched it again on the Sky repeat last night which I recorded and Ian Dowie I think it was said that Everton got away with one. Coleman who made the foul put his hands up straight away because he knew he'd clipped Cunningham.
There was absolutely no way that the twunt of a ref was going to give it though as for the second time during the game he got a major decision wrong, the first being the throw in that should have gone our way before the goal.
MOTD showed the throw in but not the penalty claim - who knows why? From the slow motion it was absolutely clear that for the throw in the ball came off Keane's heel but the pundits said they couldn't say for sure.
As far as the penalty was concerned there was far more contact made on Cunningham than Bruno made against Bournemouth when the ref couldn't wait to give the penalty against us.

BBc motd show what they want and edited out warnocks comment on the penalty because i am sure he would have commented and the view of it was also edited out.

I was there and it was clear, sky show it on their highlights and the commentators are stunned. He kicks the ball ahead and Colman steps across to block his run knocking over. Really is gutting. The inconsistency from the ref was breath taking and our keep getting booked due to crowd pressure then pickford doing the same without caution. I'm still shocked how bad it all was.

Strange Warnock didn't mention it.

It was strange unless he did mention it and it was edited out.
Warnock seems to be lacking a bit of the old fire in his belly at the moment - in the old days he would have been tearing into the ref after his performance yesterday but he hardly said a word about it.
To me Warnock seems to be somewhat downbeat in his post game interviews. It's almost as if he himself doesn't honestly believe we can stay up.

Surprised also that MOTD did not show the pen or no pen !!

Watching the game on tv Warnock certainly doesn't seem to have lost any fire, he was all over the fourth official after the non penalty incident.

It was the clearest PK I have witnessed in many years, I was in line and had a great view. I have also been a referee. Not to even mention it on MOTD adds intrigue to what is going on. Up the other end and he's awarding it.

Thanks all. Everyone unanimously thinks it was a penalty. I'm sure our penalty would have been shown on Match of the Day if we were a bigger club and everyone would have been outraged it wasn't given. Not a single highlight was shown in our favour, but the more useless Match of the Day make us out to be, the more teams might underestimate us, so hopefully it'll work in our favour.

I think the whole squad lack that bit of belief. I think Warnock has got his interviews wrong, the players have a place to hide and an excuse already lined up for them from Warnock. Yes the quality is different from the championship but I think we have lost that bit of steel and determination.

Blue handle. It's obvious that Mr Warnock is taking any pressure off the players, he stands by them thus the togetherness.

VAR puts all this biase to bed, however if you live by VAR then you also die by VAR....plenty of times this season we would have died.

Var! Should seen the decision tonight clearly accidental ref says goal but 2 mins later var says handball so goal wiped out ref didn't even review it so decision made by another official 100miles away is that right for football? Pundits say goal so shows var is only about someone's interpretation of what is accidental or deliberate.
